The secrets we keep

It was very very hot last week. I could not sleep some times and I read the book at one night."The secrets we keep" This book is very easy to read and about humanity, heartwarming story and a little gossip exited me too.I love this book!

Anyway 2days last week are very horrible hot at day and night..I was sweating all day.

It's usually dry in summer in Perth.very hot in day time but cool in night time.This was good point here.But this year is different.There were a lot of humit days!

I bought one more book for the other unsleeping day.:p

Navy Pier Dive - No.1

There are many atractive dive sites in Western Australia.Huge wreck, Leafy Seadragon, Rottnest, etc. If I chosed one as the best dive site, I have no doubt to say "Navy Pier".
I worked there as a guid for 6 month.Visibility was sometimes around only 3-5m and then not really fun.But if visibility is OK more than 5m, it is incredible dive site!
It's protected from fishing and the strong current just hit this Jetty.That cause very unique aquatic life.We need to see the time when current stop.It happens 2 times in a day around 4 hourse totally.It's very small window but we can not miss time.

The pier is not so big and only 12m depth.But full of fish are there.Also QLD grouper, fat whitechip sharks, wobbigon sharks, frog fish  and Giant Treverlly...It is the best thing to hover at the middle of water and just watch fish passed.Even if I dive 1000 times there, probably I will never be bored.

Exmouth

I went to Exmouth many times.Once by boat, and driving most time.But The way from Perth to Exmouth is 1600km and very long drive.So once I saw the senery to Exmouth, I prefer to fly back.
It's worth to drive there once as you can see a strange tree, wild animals and just strait road in the midle of nowhere and so on.There are also some famouse sites like pinnacle, kalbarri. monkey mia and coral bay.It's good idea to stop these spot on the way to Exmouth.

You can easily to see whale shark, Manta ray, Dugongs in the whale shark trip.There are a lot of possibility.Diving in Light house bay and Navy pier is fantastic.Navy pier is like a wild aquarium and you will never be bored to dive there.

Actually not good beaches for swiming are around the town but if you drive to national park, driving for an hour from town, there are many beautiful coral beaches.just a bit far from town.A lot of people love to camp there and light house.The view from light house is magnificent.You are better to get champagne and glasses to go there for sunset.

The town is very small.There are one supermarket, one bakery, 2 restaurant and 2 pubs.Nothing to do except going to Ocean but this is the best point of the town.

Grey Nurse Shark

There are a lot of shark attack around Perth but we can not see many sharks in diving.Only we can see some Port Jacson Shark and Wobbigon Shark occationally.But grey nurse shark will come aound one cave in Rottnest from March to June.Only one place, only these time.
When I worked in Exmouth, grey nurse shark came around Navy pier from June to September.Suddenly they came from somewhere only in these term.

Wild nature sometimes surprises me.
I think grey nurse shark like to come in the place having strong current and the time when water temprature dropped off.

When I saw them, I was very impressive.I've never seen sharks so closer and their tails are really beautiful! They will come to Rottnest soon.looking forward to...

Table-> Lamb!

I sold a table which I have never used for a long time.The table was capable for 5 people and good for family.The person who bought it came from Kalbarri, around 500km from Perth.I was surprised they want to come from that far way for the table.Also they brought a block of lamb and some lamb chops.The block is huge! They are really nice couple and hearty.I am glad to see them:))

I cooked this block of lamb in the oven.I am growing the rosemary so I put them on the top of lamb.Rosemary came with lamb very well and great taste.:))

QLD Grouper - Exmouth

There are around 5 QLD groupers at Navy Pier.They are in the other dive sites but some at Navy Pier are very big.QLD groupers are usually not friendly.But I came back to Navy pier this time, the biggest QLD grouper was very friendly.Probably the site is protected from the other fish and he growed very big that why he is not afraid divers.When we watched the other things, he always tried to disturb us.He came from behind of us and watched us.We could see he was sleeping on the corner of poles and snappers were swimming around him as they protected him.When he swim, so many small fish followed him.He is very gorgeous!

Frog fish - Exmouth

There is very strange shape of frog fish.We can see at Navy pier, Light House Bay but Navy pier is the easiest place to see this frog fish.They are just staying in the hole and rarely we can see their hole body.They are looks ugly but cute.

Pearl Perch - Exmouth

The best season will come to Exmouth soon.Cyclones come often from December to Febuary.And the end of June to bigening August is winter.These time is not so good in Exmouth.
Exmouth is famouse for Whaleshark and Mantaray.But there are some very good dive points and unique fish.At first, I will write about Pearl Perch.
Pearl Perch is only at Brizerd Ridge in Light House Bay.Only one dive site!
Light House Bay is just in front of old light house and there are 6 dive sites.It's good condition most time and a lot of fish there.Each dive site is very small but we can find many macros and some sharks and seasnakes and so on.Visibility is sometimes over 30m and very blue ocean.Sea is calm and peaceful there.

Tonga happening

When I went to Tonga, some things happened to me.
I went to NZ for transit.The boad was unique.

"Relax"...very correct but I've never seen this sign before.I bought a travelling pillow at the airport.Most things are cheaper than Australia.And NZ dollars are lower than Australian dollar and Sushi there was very nice!

The taxi from international airport to domestic airport was organized for our trip.But when I arrived at Tonga, he was not there...But one taxi run this root so we used it.Actually the driver we booked had the fueral at the day.It was bad timing.

 

After that, things were very smoothe.Only one thing.Dinner..We have to go out for dinner every day.So we tried different restaurants every day.But we had to wait for our meals for an hour in all restaurant.It's probably culture.When we just ordered cheese burgers, we also waited for an hour.Usually we finish 2 beers and we started dinner.The time flowed very slow.It is Tonga.

 

On the way back, I had in trouble.The flight from NZ to Perth delayed.At first they said 2 hours late then they gave us some voucher for eating in the airport.But after 2 hours the plane was not fixed yet.So they said it would take another 2 hours...It was getting late and people were angry.Some people living in NZ went home.The flight was scheduled at 4 pm but it was 12pm at the end.We wait for 8 hours...very tired.Finally my bags were missing at the Perth airport.Actually some people's bags were missing.It was 3 am in Perth and registered missing bags at the counter and took taxi to home.It was not expected at all.I had to work the next day.So it was very big day for me.Anyway my bags arrived the next day.

Strawberry

I planted strawberry in July. Actually I tryed to grow strawberries many times but I could not sucsess it.But I did it this time!! My strawberries still have fruits!They are small but I'm surprised they continue to have fruits for a long time.I am very glad to see it.

Swimming Pool Competition

I like to go Swimming Pool.There are some Swimming Pool suported by cities.There are swimming pools, gym and classes in  each place.Fee is about A$5.5.I go to some places and introduce them.

Bayswater Waves
I like it the most.Usually I use this pool for scuba dive course.There is deep dive pool out side and some playing space and BBQ facilities as well.Another deep pool is inside and I like to swim this inside deep pool.

Beaty Park
It's OK. They renewed facilities and shallow pools are inside and deep pools are outside.A lot of people are always there because it's closer to city and little smaller than Bayswater.

Aqua Centre Melville
I actually went there today at the first time.It is good! not big but pools for swimmer are separated from pools for kids or playing.All are indoor.Swimming pools are 50m and deep at the one side.Facility is very clean and I like it.Not many people so I can swim comfortably

Australian people really love to swim so they are continuousely swimming for a long time.They swim very well.Therefor I must swim hard...Joking.. Lanes are divided by paces of swimer like Slow, midium and fast.So I can swim by own pace.:)

Tonga part2

I went to Tonga again in 2012. I flew from Perth to NZ and Tonga.

I was shocked as less whales are around Vavau Tonga this time.I could have more chance to see whale before but It was hard to find whales and less chance to swim with them at this time.Also peak of the whale season was in September 4years ago but it is in August now.I didn't know that either.Probably the water temperature and crimate have changed, therefore the situation has also been different.But we could see some wild attitude, mother and calf, bridging and so on.We could come really close to them too.Once we could jamped in when male whales was chacing females.It was exiting and they just passed under us.The sound of breathing was loud and wild.

The other day, we could stay with mother and calf for more than 1 hour. The calf came around us and looked at us.The mother was huge and gorgeous.When the calf came back to the mother at the deeper place, the calf nestled up to his mother.really cute.

I bought some T-shirt there and I could chose the design like my original T-shirt.
The town of Vavau is very small.some restrants were closed down and new ones were there.Some buiding was burned.Not much change but obviousely tourist was less than before.

I stayed at Hotel Paradise and our rooms were faced to harbour.It was really nice view from rooms.People were very kind and helpful too.

Strange Shape

When I walk along the road, I somtimes see the tree having the strange shape.It looks big and round,but when I come close to the root tere are not branches in the middle.Also I am surprised a utility pole is between branches.strange looking.

Zumba Wear

I finally bought my Zumba Wear.Only we can buy them online, so it's hard to find what is my size.
Usually people use www.zumbawear.com. but when I saw it, most were sold out...So I searched them in eBay and find them but..it's all from US.Therefore postage was expensive...
I bought one top and one bottom then around $90 including postage.
The top is only xs size left and I tried it.It's OK but I should buy one size up.
I will wear them on Wednesday and I am looking forward...:))

ついに、念願のZUMBAWEAREを買いました。オンラインでしか売っていなくて、しかも、OZの店は私のサイズはほとんど売り切れ。なので、eBayで探してUSのお店で買いました。郵送料が高い。。でも、自分のサイズはなんなのか良くわからなくて、でもUSだったら結構大きいのかなとおもってSを買いました。TopはXSしかなくて、ためしに買いました。きれるけど、やっぱり私のサイズはSなのかも。。水曜日にきようと思っているので楽しみです♪

Inspection

I am renting a house.Inspection is held once every 3 month.But it's a bit different these days.I had inspection last December but I had it one more time in January.too often.Moreover I failed it at some points.marks of walls, carpet, back yard and shawer room.My place is not dirty but inspection is strict.. Inspector said the carpet was not clean then she walked in our house with shoes on.They are better to change this carpet to flooring as most of Australian people walk with shoes.How can they keep thier carpet very clean!?
Anyway I cleaned shower room today and carpet tomorrow.I scrubed the glasses very hard and now shower room is very shine! Tomorrow...the carpet will be hard work...
Re-inspection will be on Thursday.I hate it!!!

現在、家を借りています。ここでは、3ヶ月に一度、家の点検があります。ここ最近ちょっとおかしく、12月にやったのに1月にもまたあって、そしていくつかの点を指摘されました。壁の汚れ、カーペット、裏庭を整頓する、シャワールーム。。。私の家はそんなに汚くないけど、インスペクションがかなり厳しい。人によりますけどね。ホテルなみにきれいにしなくちゃなのか！？と思うほど。とにかく、掃除しなくちゃなので、今日は、シャワールームをきれにしました。がんばってガラスとかも擦ったのでかなりきれい！明日はカーペット。これが結構大変。インスペクションの人も、カーペットをしてきしつつ、自分は土足で中にはいってくるので、ちょっとちょっと！と思います。OZは基本的に土足で家にはいるので、カーペットよりフローリングにすればいいのにと思う。はぁ、カーペットの掃除は大変だなぁ。。再点検は木曜日なのでがんばらなくては。ほんと、インスペクションは嫌いです！日本でも家借りていたけど、借りてる間、家の中を見ることなんてなかったので、最初は私がいないときでも勝手に点検しますって言われてちょっとびっくり。国がちがうんだなぁと思った瞬間です。
